En målning som tillhör de absolut sorgligaste av mina verk. Min farfar och farmor var statare, levde ett slitsamt liv med sju barn och trångboddhet. Farmor var bara 36 år när hon drabbades av lungsot och dog. På min farmors gravsten fanns bara tre bokstäver – MOR.
A painting that is one of the absolute saddest of my works. My grandfather and grandmother were bordars. The family lived a tiring life with seven children and cramped quarters. Grandma was only 36 years old when she contracted pneumonia and died. On my grandmother’s tombstone there were only three letters – MOR (Mother).
