Jens Fänge

Jens Fänge (b.1965 in Gothenburg, Sweden) lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden. Education at Valand Art Academy, Gothenburg, Sweden, 1989–1994. He has exhibited regular at galleries and institutions since the mid 90s. He got international recognition in the early 2010s and has since then been shown in e.g. Paris, Hong Kong, New York, Seoul, and Shanghai. In 2018 Bonniers Konsthall in Stockholm presented the highly acclaimed solo exhibition Drömmarna (The Dreams). Fänge has executed several public commissions, for e.g. The University of Lund, Sweden, Bonniers konsthall, Stockholm, Sweden, Stockholm Konst, Sweden, Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden and also made the diplomas for the laureates of the Nobel Prize in Literature (2014–2016). He is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts since 2017.
